Tantalita
The
tântalo is a metal of high value due to their
intrinsic properties that they include excellent ductility,
resistance to the corrosion, high coalition point and
ebullition and good thermal and electric conductivity.
Now
her largest application, corresponding it about 60%
of the total use, it is as metallic powder in the production
of capacitors, which regulate the flow of electricity
in the integrated circuits of the electronic industry.
It
is used mainly in cellular telephones, personal computers,
digital consumption goods (videos, cameras etc), electronics
of automobiles and medical equipments.
The
tântalo is also used in superligas for production
of laminated products and threads, resistant the corrosion
and at high temperatures, as well as in sheets of turbines
for aeronautical industry.
